Miki-AKA-Biker Chick-AKA Plank Push-Up Girl. You’ve come a long way in a short time. Nice work.

Gnomes get Marshall a NKOTB tank top…. The one that has a pic of all the boys on it.

I will get you matching shirts. I went to this concert in the 5th grade and got a t-shirt with all the guys pictures. I wore it to school the next day with a red turtleneck under it. Yes, I was that cool…I am hoping to get another super cool shirt so I can wear it to the gym.

Has anyone tried Monavie? It is supposed to help your joints and it has glucosomine in it. I think Oprah drinks it.

      October 29th, 2008 at 10:07 am

Naomi, you can wear your NKOTB t-shirt for Halloween and be “Adolescence: Revisited.” Or something. I think you’ll need a scrunchie too.

Gnomes, your coolness is contagious. You told me that if I joined Facebook I’d be cool. And you were so right. Seeing all of the 70s and 80s pix that friends have posted from our JHS days, there can no longer be any doubt about my coolness.

LaurenG, you ain’t said nothin’ but a thing. I had gold and silver metalic scrunchies.

      LMAO regarding comment #12.

Ann, I’m trying it now. Only my second day though. My chiropractor recommended it for me.

      Anne,
I have been drinking MonaVie for over a year now and it has been FABULOUS! I would love to talk to you about it. My knees were so bad I was pulling myself up stairs by the railings, and after a month they were not hurting at all. My energy and sleep improved, and my cholesterol went down by 17 ponits in 6 weeks. If it weren’t for MonaVie I wouldn’t be at CrossFit, and if it weren’t for MonaVie and CrossFit I wouldn’t be running 5K’s!
Feel free to call me on my cell phone, 678/358-6876, to tak about it.

Pam, where do you get MonaVie? They don’t sell it at regular stores, right?

      New Kids on the Block????

oohhhhh booyyy. (no pun intended lol)

    22. Pam W. Says:
      October 29th, 2008 at 11:00 am

      Hi Lauren,
Right, it’s not sold in stores. I can order it for you, or I can show you how to order for yourself. I signed up on the auto-ship program because that gives the biggest discount.
MonaVie is a combination of fruits (the Active formula has glucosamine – that’s what I use), and it actually tastes great. In 4 oz. a day you get all the anti-oxidents of your daily intake of fruits and vegetables.

Hey everybody. You’ve probably noticed that the scorecard has returned in recent days, and we are doing our best to log your scores each day. You can help by by doing the following:

      1. Write legibly
      2. Include your time (or rounds/weights, etc)
      3. Also include any mods from the prescribed workout. This is so that when you repeat this workout in the future, you will be able to see how you improved. If you don’t record mods, the score isn’t as meaninful. (Some of you that are new to CrossFit may not understand why this is important, so I thought I would explain.)
      4. Keep it simple.
      5. Make sure your score is logged on the board before leaving the gym. =o)
