Who got smacked down? Phil or Helen?

Phil put a hurtin’ on Helen.

And now, some thoughts on shirt removal in the CrossFit Affiliate of today… (the vid at the end is a must-watch!)

    ………………………………………..

CFED WOD will be posted at the gym.

Hi,everyone! Shana any chance you can email me the CFED WOD, I am looking for a burner today! Thanks, missing the fall in Atlanta, but enjoyed the beach last night! Miss all my CFED buddies!

Regarding shirt removal- I must admit that it has always been my goal to take my shirt off (and twist it ’round my head like a helicopter) and work out in my sports bra. I have yet to fulfill my dream, but with the help of Paleo, I hope that by next spring, my fantasy will be a reality! To those of you who already do take your shirts off- more power to you! Keep up your McConaughey-ness and inspire the rest of us :)

This seems to be a pretty standard end position for me these days.

Phil… that means my evil plan is working … MWAH HA HA HA!!

I am fine with the plan just as long as someone give me a nudge (no kicking please) if I remain in that position too long in order to ensure I am still alive.

I suggest a mirror held under Phil’s nose to make sure he is still breathing. That way we don’t have to bother him with a “nudge”.

Great idea Brooke, I will add a mirror to my bag for everyone to use. It will be right next to the defibrillator!

Hilarious vid. Great post Shana! Brooke, I think you are more than ready for that “Brandi Chastain” moment.

Brooke do it for Petey Pablo.

Y’know, the article was great and all, but that song is now in my head on a loop. Make it stop.

      Phil, you look really peaceful.

Joe: I am sure my body was shutting down all non-essential functions in order to sustain life providing my peaceful appearance. Rest assured my heart rate was well above the legal limit.

      October 7th, 2009 at 9:16 am

      Christin- Thanks :)
Tommy- I think we should all “Raise Up” for Petey. You in?
Joe C. – Why would you want it to stop? It makes me want to bounce around and throw up gang signs.
Phil- Several us at the gym know how to use the defibrillator…just in case the mirror shows that your body has indeed started to send you into a Crossfit-induced (or Shana induced) coma.

My gratitude to everyone who has been brave enough to come to the gym and face the unknown. I’m really enjoying doing the programming so far, and I hope you all enjoy it, too.

      =o)

Phil – yeah, but besides the heart rate, it’s pretty relaxing.

Brooke – I know like the first two lines and the chorus. So there’s a lot of garbled speed-rapping in there confusing me.

Phil..what’s funny is not that you have been sighted in this position several times…but that your outfit appears to be the same or close to it… :)

    18. Phillip W Says:
      October 7th, 2009 at 3:38 pm

      Kristine,

Thanks for pointing that out! I either A) need new clothes B) need to stop wearing those because they are not helping me C) all of the above.

I guess I should get myself a snazzy new CFED shirt!

Hey Phil, why don’t we just take your photo from the direction of your feet rather than your head? Those new red kicks are REALLY snazzy! They will surely spice up your wardrobe and your pics!

Brooke: Absolutely not. I am excited for any reason not to drink alone. Ha. You guys don’t know me well enough to know if that’s a joke or not. :)
